About Seedlings of Light

One of Rays of Faith projects, focused on nurturing the mindset, faith identity, and character of young Muslims.

About the project

Da‘wah begins
long before the conversation.

Seedlings of Light is one of Rays of Faith projects: a da‘wah curriculum for Grades 1–6 that helps children grow in faith, character, and confidence.

Da‘wah training often begins in college or later. This project starts earlier, giving young learners a structured path to understand Islam, care for others, and share Islamic values with wisdom and respect.

Designed for Islamic schools, Sunday schools, masjid courses, and extracurricular clubs, the curriculum brings together meaningful stories, creative activities, practical projects, and reflection.

Our mission

Build faith.
Nurture character.
Equip young callers.

Help children develop the knowledge, values, and practical skills to convey Islam thoughtfully and ethically, through an engaging curriculum adapted to their stage of growth.

We connect learning with action: sincere intentions, good character, careful listening, clear communication, and genuine care for others.

Our vision

A generation of young
da‘wah ambassadors.

Young Muslims who are grounded in their faith, confident in their identity, aware of the world around them, and ready to share Islamic values with wisdom, kindness, and purpose.

Our 2030 ambition

10,000 students.
100 partner schools and centers.

By 2030, we aim to reach 10,000 students across the United States, work with 100 partner schools and centers, train 500 educators, and nurture 5,000 active young ambassadors. We also target demonstrated skill improvement for 80% of learners.

These are our future targets. Families, educators, community partners, volunteers, and supporters can help make them possible.
